Förfesta med Bögministeriet på Stockholm Pride

Ovanliga saker verkar hända mig när det blir Pride i Stockholm. Sist jag var där var det två saker som hände. Jag vann nämligen två veckopass för mig och en vän till festivalområdet. Dessutom vann jag i en annan tävling att få åka på SL:s flak i prideparaden utklädd till Ironman. Det var en rätt udda händelse om man säger så. Nu när jag ska till Pride igen för första gången på fyra år börjar det direkt hända udda saker för mig, och jag ska ta det från början.

I julas satt jag på tåget hem från Stockholm och var uttråkad. Min kompis Karl tipsade mig därför om att lyssna på Bögministeriet. Bögministeriet är Sveriges största bögpodcast, och ända sedan jag började lyssna på dem och fick höra något i stil med ”…och på tal om slappa rövhål – idag ska vi prata om twinks…” har jag varit fast för deras podcast. Dessa underbara killar som håller i Bögministeriet ska ha en livpodcast under Pridefestivalen, och det bokade jag så klart in direkt när jag såg det. Nu kommer det roliga. Under natten till i fredags drömde jag om att Bögministeriet hade reserverat en plats åt mig under deras liveframträdande. Inget speciellt konstigt med det kan man tycka, men vänta så ska ni se.

När jag satt och åt lunch i fredags plingade det till i min telefon. Någon hade skickat ett meddelande till mig på Facebook. Inget ovanligt med det, men vem var det som hade skickat meddelandet? Jo, Mårten från Bögministeriet. Han undrade ifall jag och en vän ville komma på Bögministeriets förfest som de ska hålla på festivalområdet. För att förtydliga lite känner jag ingen av killarna i Bögministeriet, så det var en total överraskning att de bjöd in mig. Det kom därför upp två tankar i mitt huvud. Den första var: ”Hur coolt är det inte att de vet vem jag är!?” och den andra var: ”Ska jag mingla runt med folk jag inte känner!!?”. Om vi säger såhär: jag är inte direkt känd för att vara bra på att socialisera med folk jag inte känner. Jag mer eller mindre undviker sådana situationer. Dessutom är jag rätt udda när det kommer till saker och ting. Jag kan verkligen tänka mig ett samtal som liknar denna:

Bögministeriet –  Hej och välkommen! Vill du ha lite bubbel att dricka?
Jag – Nej, tack, jag dricker inte…
Bögministeriet – Aha, okej, vill du ha lite cider istället?
Jag- Nej, tack, jag har inte druckit läsk på sex år…

Jag – Ni har mot förmodan inte vanligt vatten?
Bögministeriet – Nej, tyvärr, men du kan ju ta lite chips att äta.
Jag – Jag äter enligt LCHF…

Ja, som ni ser är jag en typiskt jobbig person, men jag känner såhär: Fake it until you make it! Jag får helt enkelt låtsas att jag är världsbäst på att mingla, och jag kanske får gå runt där med ett glas bubbel och låtsas att jag dricker. Svårare än så är det inte. Någon gång måste jag våga göra saker, och inte bara göra det som jag är bekväm med. Men för att vara helt ärlig skulle jag nog inte ha gått om jag inte fick ta med mig Karl. Man måste ju trots allt inte gå all in på en gång.

Med det här vill jag ha sagt att jag tycker det ska bli jätteroligt att träffa gänget från Bögministeriet, och jag tycker det är jätteroligt att jag har blivit inbjuden. Jag är visserligen livrädd, men det kommer nog gå över. Det får vi hoppas i alla fall. Annars får jag väl bara tänka att alla där är nakna, så som man brukar göra när man är nervös. Fast Pridefestivalen kanske inte direkt är rätt plats för den taktiken…
