Påverkar ditt synsätt din personlighet?

Hur du är och beter dig är något som är så självklart för dig att du ofta inte tänker på det. Detsamma gäller för mig. Jag ser på saker och ting som jag gör och lägger inte mycket tanke på det, förrän nu. Den senaste tiden har jag nämligen fastnat på en enkel fråga: påverkar ditt synsätt din personlighet?

Jag fokuserar på detaljer

Jag blir väldigt fäst vid detaljer och mönster. Det är något jag alltid har gjort. Jag reagerade till exempel på att en liten liten planta hade planterats under dagen när jag och min pojkvän var på semester på Mallorca. Något som ingen annan ens reagerade på. På min systers 18-årsfest spenderade jag en stor andel av tiden till att titta upp i taket för att förstå i vilket mönster laserstrålarna från en diskolampa rörde sig. Som ni märker är detaljer lite av min grej.

Lägger fokus på utseende före namnet

Detaljer är även något jag lägger märke till när jag träffar folk. Inom några få sekunder har jag analyserat vilken klädstil de har, hur deras hår, tänder och hy ser ut, ifall de har noppat ögonbrynen, om de har några karakteristiska ansiktsdrag osv.. Ta bilden på mig högst upp till exempel. Jag tycker det är en bra bild på mig, men jag lägger ändå fokus på att det är ett hårstrå som sticker ut från frisyren, att det är ett vitt streck på min axel och att flugan inte riktigt sitter högst upp vid kragen.

Denna typ av synsätt är inget jag har tänkte så värsta mycket på, men den senaste tiden har det slagit mig att inte alla ser saker på samma sätt. När min kompis Sofia till exempel skulle berätta om en person berättade hon självklart hens namn, så som alla gör. Jag är otroligt dålig på namn, men jag trodde att jag eventuellt visste vem hon pratade om. Jag sade därför: ”Är det hen med näsan med stora porer?”

Ingen i sällskapet visste vem jag pratade om, men när vi väl kommit fram till att vi pratade om samma person var det ingen annan som hade reagerat på att personen vi pratade om hade stora porer på näsan. Det hela fick mig att känna mig rätt ytlig, då jag uppenbarligen fokuserade mer på utseende än namn.

Delar jag synsätt med fåfänga personer?

Eftersom jag var ensam i gruppen om att fokusera på detaljer och utseende började jag fundera. Kan mitt öga för detaljer ha något att göra med att jag är så mån om mitt egna utseende? Eftersom jag lägger stor vikt på detaljer hos andra har jag mer eller mindre antagit att alla har gjort detsamma med mig, men så verkar inte vara fallet. Kan det vara så att personer som kallas ”fåfänga” har samma synsätt som jag har, och att hela skönhetsindustrin bygger på detta synsätt? Det är en väldigt intressant tanke tycker jag och något jag tänker fundera vidare på.

  1. Det fascinerar mig också att man fungerar/tänker så olika. Jag har länge lite omedvetet tänkt att ”alla är väl som jag…” men insåg för ett tag sedan att det faktiskt inte är så.
    Jag kommer verkligen ihåg namnet på alla jag någonsin träffat, typ… Och jag hade aldrig lagt märke till de jättestora porerna 🙂
